Today sucks. It's almost lunch & I am still rain-soaked from the shittiest morning commute. I have stuffed paper towels in my pants through my zipper in an attempt to keep my soggy pants from saturating my thighs and giving me swine flu.

I want to wrap my body of fleece and Gore-Tex and groan and purr like a bloated mountain lion.

New one today @ h_ngm_n. h_ngm_n is cool. My piece is short. I’m happy with as it’s a different kind of thing for me. I think people who like to say words like “prosody” or “poetics” will find a way to talk shit but will secretly be satisfied and undeniably pleased after reading it.

Ben Gibbard & Jay Farrar perform songs from Jack Kerouac's 'Big Sur' live. you can listen to this HERE. again, people can talk shit - but it will be exclusively to & for themselves and not the greater good.

Okay. I’m okay now.

dj berndt kindly nominated my story The Nurse and The Patient for Dzanc Best Of The Web. so thanks to dj. The other nominees are:

When We Take Off Our Heads by J.A. Tyler

Bernhard Goetz by Sam Pink

They are both very good. Read them.

Also – I "think" you will “enjoy” THIS if you "love" or "hate" or "love/hate" "using quotation marks" around every "goddamn" word.

michael j. solender blogs about my storybikini sex” which recently appeared in thieves jargon:

Bikini Sex, by Adam Moorad, is as unconventional write as you are going to read this week, I guarantee it. Breaking all the rules of construction, this perfectly disjointed ramble is perfect in conveying thought, feeling, mood, senses and everything a write should do. It is not smooth and fluid, nor is it meant to be. Go, see what I mean.”

Many thanks to mr. solender.

i have a new story in ex cathedra’s second doctrine
it’s the story of a hungover person daydreaming while gazing deeply into the hole of a bagel.
this person is lonely.
this person finds hope in the message of ziggy stardust.

seems like it would be something you could enjoy.
seems like it’s about time you enjoyed something someplace.
please read “david bowie against the enemy” on page 76 in the second doctrine.
i think you will have fun.
okay.
